worn : savannah & a straw hat

On our way to a bridal shower in South Carolina, we stopped off in Savannah to pick up a little addition to our gift. It was my first time there, and now I wish we'd had more time! Historic Savannah was charming and filled with the cutest shops. While we were there, I also bought this perfect straw hat. It's just the thing for my summer wardrobe!

I wanted to start up another occasional feature about something I love almost as much as food: fashion. It's a big part of my life that I've not shared much online apart from my constantly updated pinterest board. So, in an effort to put together more inspired outfits solely from what is already in my closet (and strewn about in laundry baskets, if we're being honest with each other), you'll be seeing these "worn" posts from time to time!



For my very first worn, here's an outfit I wore to work recently. I've had the dress for years, and it feels effortless whenever I throw it on. Almost like wearing pajamas to work. What could be better? In any case, I hope you'll enjoy these posts while I learn the ins-and-outs of fashion photography.

Goodwill.

My friends and family know I adore Goodwill. There are six in Tallahasee alone, all within fifteen minutes of each other. Boyfriend and I sometimes make a day of it, hitting up as many of them as we can before the sun goes down.



I made a quick stop at the store by our house the other day, and picked up some lovely clothes.











This summer, I love light and airy clothes. Soft colors mainly, with a loose fit. It's hard enough coping with Florida's heat and humidity... clothes shouldn't make it harder.
