





yellow split pea soup, based off of this recipe.
12 oz. dried yellow split peas
1 diced red onion
3 diced carrots
3 cloves minced garlic
8 c. water
3-4 tbs. veggie bouillon paste
3/4 c. white wine
cumin, to taste
rosemary, to taste
s&p, to taste
Dice veggies, then saute with spices & olive oil in large stock pot for 5-10 minutes.
Add broth and white wine to pot, bring to a boil, then reduce to medium low and cover for 2 hours, or until split peas are soft.
Add salt & pepper to taste.
